We will be installing a used clothing collection box at the Kajima Akasaka Annex. To coincide with the installation, we will be holding an event to introduce examples of how the collected used clothing is being utilized, so please join us.
Event Overview
May 22, 2025 (Thursday) 17:00 - 18:00
Kajima Akasaka Annex, 5th Floor Library Space
"Only 5% of clothes discarded as waste are recycled."
The fashion industry is increasingly being identified as an industry with a very high environmental impact due to mass production, mass consumption, and mass disposal, leading to increased resource and energy consumption in manufacturing and shortened product lifecycles, becoming an international issue.
Let's reconsider how we dispose of clothes and work together to make the future of fashion and the environment better!

Sustainable fashion starts with "knowing"
To solve social issues in the fashion industry, FASHION X Co., Ltd. collects used clothing and aims to create a circular society where clothes are not discarded by reusing, remaking, and upcycling them.

Your clothes in a fashion show?!
Let's take a look at how FASHION X utilizes the clothes we collect!
Collected clothes are repurposed as reused items through unique methods.
Donations are also made to children's homes and disability support facilities.
We collaborate with fashion schools and remake creators to provide opportunities for them to create and sell their works.
③ Recycling examples
Used clothes that cannot be reused or remade are recycled as resources in collaboration with various recycling plants.
④ Used clothing collection boxes installed at 6 stations along the Keio Railway line
We are conducting initiatives to promote the collection and reuse of used clothing, and we are also conducting demonstration experiments to promote the circulation of used clothing along the railway line.
Collected used clothing will be repurposed as recycled items, and we are also working on creating a system to circulate them as reused items in various locations along the Keio line in the future.
In addition to the events mentioned above, used clothing collection boxes are also being used as initiatives to foster communication.
